No End - January 13, 2015
The studio is such a juicy reflection of life and in this moment is the perception that there is no end to problems to solve, materials to discover, subjects to play with, colors to mix, situations to ponder. And it occurs that I hope that I die with many unsolved conundrums, in other words that I stay engaged enough to not have reached some sort of end.
Confession: As I pondered impermanence today in the studio it occurred that I don't have to resolve or finish a painting, I can try different things, photograph, look at them and decide later, or not at all. These last 2 posts are examples of unresolved work. Same backgrounds and different stuff "pasted" up front.
