Spring and Design - May 6, 2016
Howard says that Chicago typically gets a day of spring squeezed between winter cold and steamy summer ... well I think it may have been a half day this year, occurring this morning and lovely it was sandwiched between cold and windy yesterday and hot this afternoon (northern California standards).
I'm blown away by the attention to design elements in this city, the architectural richness, and beautility - a new word to me. I love this city ... to visit on a spring day!
Many building stand out in many ways, but Aqua is really sweet, designed by a woman, Jeanne Gang.
