Toronto Island - May 15, 2016

I've just spent a week in retreat with dear friends on this island, just off the edge of a major diverse metropolitan area, where the birds and trees are the neighbors and the lake the predominant presence ... yet a 15 minute ferry ride brings big city energy. Spring is literally bursting out of buds and birds.
