Camaraderie - July 9, 2017

One of the loveliest things about the Oregon Bach Festival is the relaxed and supportive atmosphere of and for the musicians. There is much appreciation for each other as you see them attending performances they aren't in, congratulating each other, and displaying general bon amie.

Here is our fabulous conductor/artistic director enthusiastically appreciating the solo cello performance of Andrew Yee who played John Tavener's 20th century work, The Protecting Veil, an engaging and deeply moving sonic experience. He is a young and intense Julliard graduate.
