Ganesha Comes Through-October 12, 2012

In an impossible race against time (a young hawker once said "next time, bring more time") our rattly bus lurched through Delhi at rush hour (when isn't?) arriving very late for a flight.

For the prior 45 minutes I'd been chanting the helpful little humm taught by our Chacha .....

Om namo Ganesha

I now carry my Ladakhi stone Ganesh at all times. I frequently return to that miracle of chanting together the Ganesh Sloka, working together as a team to move through seemingly impossible odds and achieving our goal of reaching Varanasi all intact and on time. What an unexpected wonder!

You taught me the power of Ganesha in this instance and the tune is emblazened in my mind. My little crystal Ganesha is with me too, and how wonderful to add these ritual touches to a life previously quite ritual-free. Thank you!
