In the Belly of Old Delhi - October 8, 2012

The antithesis of New Delhi, we found narrow alleyways teeming with human and animal life, every sort of commerce and food, living quarters spilling into the causeways, temples sandwiched between commercial enterprise, elaborate balconies and doors of former eras and all of it amidst a cacophonous soundscape and riotous colorscape. It was thrilling, sensually overwhelming, moving, and exhausting.
