Elusive Higgs Field - October 8, 2013

As the Nobel committee searches for Dr. Higgs to award him his prize for physics for describing the source of matter as a higgs boson particle and it's related universal energy field I am completely amused by his absence from the Nobel field so to speak. It's really magical when science predicts then substantiates such amazing findings as this and I will do no such thing as trivialize it by pretending I know or understand the least bit about it. I am just vibrating at the ideas, minds, history, and brute hard work that go into such a discovery, how worthy a human endeavor it is to celebrate, and how glad I am that we do.
