Shaking Out - October 13, 2013
I recently read about the idea of shaking as a useful way to move the body, bounce out the stiffness, I suppose, and today I had the opportunity to play with that as the Sacred Wave ecstatic dance playlist of rhythmic drumming was invitation to this body to shake. And that's what we (body parts) did for much of an hour to the point where the space behind the heart and between the scapulae wanted a good shake too and so we did. Ahh, the post shakedown feels alive and rested.
