Empty and Satisfied - November 17, 2013

The paintings, about 150 of them, have found wonderful homes and are making their way there gradually. It was a day of connecting with so many fine people, old friends and new ones in a space of light, music, and warmth. I had a strange feeling of having been emptied, not in a bad way, but in a way of feeling deeply satisfied.

This whole project began with an attempt to clear out my studio ...  now I survey the mess and begin again. And so it goes.
