Icarus Revisited? - November 29, 2013

As much as many of us wished, it was not to be, ISON is no more, swallowed by the sun. At least that was the original report. And then, a little smudgy smear of something appeared. We don't know what this trickster is up to. Could it be that this comet has more curious sentient eyes on it than any other? Such an unanswerable question. Or are there countless other planets covered with life which is also fascinated by the movements of heavenly bodies? I love pondering this one.
