Outliers - November 8, 3013

That's what my statistician husband calls us (well at least 80 +/- 5% of the time). I think he's right, once I get over the abruptness of the claim. It does sound better than oddball or nutcase. And there's the freedom of occupying the edges of the normal curve, more space to breathe and play, fewer rules, less pressure to normalize (the crowd in the middle doesn't even see us except to occasionally wonder or chortle). This situation highlights my appreciation of aging where the outlier world feels ever richer, more comfortable, and inviting.
