Beauty in the Beast - September 20, 2017
I knew it was true, that the depth of sad and grief carves out space for love and beauty, but still I was caught by surprise on my walk yesterday with a dear friend who knows grief well and is comfortable in this milieu.
We came across a graceful egret and watched her fish and stand while the wind delicately rearranged feathers creating interesting changes in appearance and seeming mood.
And then at my divine body worker's home, I saw the dolls that she and her daughter made over the summer ... a family project, so alive and full of love. Anna's dolls.
