Paris in Color - May 18, 2018

There is something about the light here that makes me want baby pink - although I added that color to my hair in London, the feeling of pink persists. Though I don't see it everywhere ... I feel it.

Giverny gave us Monet's yellow dining room and copper/blue kitchen and of course a garden teeming with blooms and blooming with tourists.

I was immediately struck with comparisons of Morris Graves' exquisite lakescaping and Monet's lily pond from a century earlier.

Two artists expressing art and time in their landscapes and homes. I'll take the serenity and natural beauty of the Graves estate any day and the color and light in Monet's home.
