Mountain Monastery - October 10, 2012

Thiksay Monastery monks and juveniles in training chant in a colorful chorus of mature bass, subdued midrange, and twanging, exuberant youth voice that fills the dark morning prayer hall. Youth serve butter tea and barley flour for consumption during the ritual.

That early morning experience at the monastery was one of those epiphanies that is reforming my life. I am still unable to express what I felt. This window into part of that time helps return me to that heart...
