I headed out early this morning to Bald Hill Road in Redwood National Park to view the lupin bloom and had a wonderful day of it.

Total drippy fog throughout the drive and a good way up the hill when light began filtering through forest fog in stellar streaks. Then emerging out of fog, I was looking down on it in the valleys below. A nice walk to the barns with a snake on the path and beautiful lupin and iris swaths. It felt like a big vacation, as if my life isn't!
