do like the Romans - and take a spa. So I did, and 4 hours into the 5 hour experience I was a grumpy mess, enumerating all the things wrong with it which I will spare you.

However the last hour was dinner in the lovely little restaurant, everyone in white robes and flip flops, good view from above of a very old street without cars through ancient rippled glass.
And a couple of flutes of prosecco later and all was well with the world. The food was mundane but I suppose the rose scented scrub and massage did more for me than I initially realized. ;-)
