Altogether Now - October 8, 2017

Though I doubted Joan's grand vision for the day, planting a grove of trees and preparing a Thanksgiving feast for a multitude outdoors, it was only a testament to my lack of imagination.

They took pity on my freezing wimpy self and assigned me cooking duty, the only warm and easy thing to do, which I embraced in my newly realized elder role. I managed to harvest a couple of boxes of tomatoes and miccrorhizae for the plantings.

It was the 10th anniversary of our brother's death and Joan even managed to set up an alter centerpiece in his honor. Even more reason to gather again.
