And Now What? - October 16, 2017

Sometimes I see Howard sitting so still and quietly I swear he is meditating, which he would never admit but says he is thinking about something, usually mathematical.

He's been studying General Relativity with a friend over months. In the last couple of days I've seen him sitting with a pencil and paper, scratching away like Scrooge at his ledgers and today I asked what he was doing - "... calculating curvature tensor values for curved space" - of course, what else?

It's a simple part of Einstein's General Relativity ideas which have been verified experimentally. You'll be glad to know that after several pages and hours, he arrived at the correct answer - zero. So we continue to be on track in our curved spacieness. Whew!
