Understanding - October 21, 2017

The experience of understanding is such a primary motivator for me, that moment between thinking and knowing, between the joke and the laughter, between learning something new and getting it. The joy is in the gap, the space between thinking and doing, that wonderful peaceful creative place where understanding arises seemingly "out of the blue". 

The interesting thing is that the experience is delightful whatever the situation, in other words it's not so much about the content as the satisfying feeling of understanding.
