Quark - October 22, 2017

It's a type of cheese, besides an elementary particle, and what I made to go inside the classic nalysnyky recipe. It's been a lengthy and enjoyable process starting with three days of cheesemaking. I thought it would be more complicated from my memory of Baba making the rolls but it all was easy.










One of the things I love about this dish is it can go savory or sweet, so this morning I had some for breakfast with cream and honey on top, last night it was a dinner side dish with a pumpkin savory sauce.

Big Yumm, yet an acquired taste. The cheese has a sour flavor. Howard was not so charmed.
