Reflecting - November 8, 2016

Eight years ago I spent Election Day in Nevada near Fernie working for Obama. It was one of the most precious days of my life. In the cold, early dark I was hanging door hangers in a small community when the graupel began to fall from the sky. Alone in silence I looked up and watched the tiny soft bouncing snow balls fall from the sky. Never seen it before or since and it was the beginning of the joy of the day.

Tonight I will be at tango class and then hopefully home to raise a glass of the chilling Prosecco to our first woman president. Blessed Be.
