Ciao Ciao Roma - October 14, 2016

Time to say goodbye to our home in Trastevere, our local cheese guy, Roberto, and all of those ruins, traffic, graffiti, and great foods. One last ruins for Howard, Trajan's ancient market mall which pleased me with a contemporary sculpture installation by a Mexican artist, Gustavo Aceves, about the migrant experience. I found it compelling and moving.

The Caravaggio book is done, what a sad life, and yet what a profound influence on art and even photography and movie making.

No more Trump beheadings but I note that mine is no more gruesome than Time Magazine. So many ways to say "Loser".
