Ooh La La! - October 18, 2016

Some days are almost too beautiful for words and this was one of them. We wandered down the Seine across from the Louvre on a color saturated overcast morning and arrived at the light drenched Musee d'Orsay prepared for the hard work of viewing fine art.

After cafe creme in the impressionist fantasy cafe we got down to it in earnest. Once again, I could not help focusing on the small abstract color compositions filling the paintings. This time other artists besides Monet.

No one does black like Manet.

And no one piles it on like Vincent.

If the work of a life is to notice and appreciate the experience of what arises, I did a good job today.
