Ghetto Goodies - October 3, 2016

The Jewish Ghetto area of Rome memorializes discretely the deep sad history right next to the restaurants that celebrate cooking traditions. Apparently the Italian Jews were instrumental in spreading the good word about artichokes, and they have the best ways of eating them as well. My new favorite food - fried artichoke! Carciofi alla Giudia!
